"My name is Billy and you were here at my home today to install a 50 gallon Bradford White hot water heater and Flood Master. I wanted to take a moment to say thank you again. I must admit that I had another plumber come earlier in the day yesterday before you came to give me an estimate.  The other plumber was a nice guy, but a not so nice guy employed him. The other plumber could not install the larger hot water heater that I wanted and quoted me a price of $1150.00 to replace the 40-gallon tank that was there WITHOUT an extended warranty. I was glad that I found your website via Google. I immediately felt reassured that you, the owner of the A-1 Service Masters, actually came to my home within 30 minutes of my call to provide an estimate. Your crew arrived on time as you said they would and I was surprised that you came to assist in the project. I have had to deal with lots of contractors, plumbers, and the like since I bought my home in 2004 and I must say that you are by far the BEST I have hired to date and I really doubt anyone else will come close to your knowledge, services, prices, and courtesy.

Stan, you and your crew were great from the beginning of the job until completion and you finished the job a lot sooner than I had thought you would. I also appreciate that you changed the gas valve that was leaking and didn’t add anything to the price. I am sure other plumbers would have added an hour of labor just for that.

You and your crew were respectful, courteous, and knowledgeable. I enjoyed watching you all working together, hand in hand, each knowing exactly what your function was. You guys made everything look so easy and the fact that you were able to have a few laughs during the job made me even more comfortable that you all knew exactly what you were doing.

"When our central air conditioning unit broke down during a heat wave, we began calling different service technicians listed in the telephone book. We left a number of messages at various places, but the only one to call us back was A 1 Service Masters. After apologizing for calling late on a Sunday evening, an appointment was made for them to visit our home soon thereafter. Unfortunately our unit was old, and replacements parts were unavailable, and since it was an extra large unit, it was not in stock and took almost a week to get installed. The A 1 employees apologized profusely about not being able to get it sooner and told me that while I was waiting, if I could get another company to come and do it sooner, they would understand. We waited for A 1 to come back and install the unit and they did so quickly, without much mess and were pleasant during all of our dealings".

"I have a water heater that is 4 yrs old. My problem was that I had no hot water.  I called Sears and the best they could do was send a tech 4 days later. I am not technical myself but within 3 and half minutes later the tech’s diagnosis was that I needed a new water heater. A friend recommended A-1 Service Masters to me, and said you will never find a more honest, reliable, and reasonable company. So of course, I called A-1.  A-1 gave me an appointment that same day that I called. Low and behold, all I needed was a pilot assembly and saved myself a fortune.  I feel so confident with your company and I will recommend you highly".

"I have used, and happily referred, A-1 to all my neighbors.  When my heater broke on the worst day in February I called another heating contractor.  When he came I was advised that I needed a mother board ($175.00) but he wasn't sure if that was the problem and I might need a new unit.  I asked him to put a loaner board in to test it- since he told me I would have to pay the $175.00.  He became totally nasty, and then he said since it wasn't the mother board I would then need a new unit entirely plus it would be best if I put in a new compressor (4500.00 total).  After I escorted him to the door I called a neighbor and asked if she could recommend someone - without a second thought she referred Stan.  I called, he said he would be here in an hour and sure enough in less than an hour he was here - and lo and behold - it was a $50.00 battery.  Not a motherboard, not a new heating unit ... a battery.  Without trepidation I have recommended A-1 to everyone who asks if I have someone.  He's honest, efficient and knowledgeable.  When hiring a contractor or repair person it’s gratifying to know I have one that I rely on - Stan".
